Jennifer Whitlock, CPA, Controller
Ms. Whitlock serves as the Controller at Riverside Logistics, managing all accounting, finance, and administrative functions for the company. She also manages the freight payment department, which audits and processes shipping invoices for client companies. Ms. Whitlock has 15 years experience working with a variety of small, mid-sized, and large businesses in such industries as medical, construction, environmental, IT, engineering, and advertising for both private and public sector contractors and consultants. Ms. Whitlock is a principal at Totemic Business Solutions providing accounting and federal contracting compliance services to growing businesses and conducting training seminars alongside the Small Business Administration (SBA) and Virginia Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC). Before Totemic, she served as Controller and Federal Contracts Manager for a SBA certified, HUBZone environmental construction firm, providing guidance, oversight, and management on several multi-year, multi-million dollar federal contracts.
Ms. Whitlock is a Graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a Major in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
