Keith Hamlett, President
Mr. Hamlett was General Manager of Transportation for James River Company (today's Fort James/Georgia Pacific) and their reknowned enterprise wide Load Control Center. Prior to this, he served as Financial Manager at both James River and Chesapeake Corp. He formed Riverside Logistics with Frank Wood, VP of Transportation for James River, in 1996 as a multi-service 3PL for select vertical markets and mid market clients.
Riverside Logistics is an equity investor in Shippers Commonwealth, a transportation management software company. Mr. Hamlett also serves as COO and Treasurer of Shippers Commonwealth.
He has managed the growth of Riverside Logistics into a profitable and sucessful full service logistics firm, with a family of companies offering logistics management, outsourcing services, freight payment, warehousing programs, trailer leasing and freight brokerage services.
Mr. Hamlett also formerly managed and then outsourced the James River private fleet business, as part of Riverside Logistics. He is active in the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and Chamber of Commerce programs in Virginia.
