O'Donnell Promoted
Richmond VA - December 11, 2006: Riverside Logistics announced today that Scott O'Donnell has been promoted to General Manager of the Transportation Division, where he will manage all third party freight management functions, as well as Riverside's dedicated trucking operation. Scott was previously Director of Sales and Marketing for the Transportation Division.
Before joining Riverside, Scott worked for FWC Trucking as Director of Sales/Logistics. He also held positions at Richfood and Union Camp. He brings more than 24 years of logistics experience to his new role.
According to Keith Hamlett, president of Riverside, "In his time with Riverside, Scott has proven that his transportation experience is both long and deep. His background includes positions with both the corporate and carrier sides of the business, giving him a unique perspective on the supply chain. He has a clear understanding of how a load originates through delivery to the end customer."
Scott is a graduate of Penn State University with B.S. in Business Logistics.
